An Annual Report like none other.

Wills Eye Hospital, one of the world’s premier ophthalmology hospitals, came to us asking about an Annual Report featuring their youngest patients. And we ended up making a children’s fairy tale that inspired (and informed) the industry’s top ophthalmologists and medical experts. This is Book 5 in a series of six for the hospital, each printed in a different color (plus black).

When we pitched the idea of presenting these case studies as tales from the patient’s perspectives, we began with ornate drop caps that featured ocular details or references. Quickly the book grew to be a illustrated collection of stories, perfect for patients, their families and medical professionals.

Children and their families journey from places near and far to be cared for at Wills Eye Hospital. Here, I invite you to see through the children’s eyes into a world where battles against the most cunning villains (and their diseases) are always fought, and good strives to win the day.
